    When we first meet Frank (he’s an anglerfish for those of you wondering), he's being bullied by other anglerfish in his community because he is different. He is sad until he makes a new friend who is also experiencing something similar.

    We meet George (a seahorse) halfway through the first book when Frank swims near where he is hiding. He and Frank are able to bond over their respective mistreatment.

    Howie (an octopus) is introduced in book two, which hasn’t been released yet. Book two is projected to be released late summer 2025
